Shed hunting has now became a popular thing to do in late winter and early spring. Its one of the few recreational activities that you can do with your family that does not cost anything in most states, except for when you purchase a bracket from Racked-Out™ ;) Soon Idaho Fish & Games and other Wildlife Management programs will probably put an end to this free sport and start restricting when and where you can go looking for sheds like in many states with large wintering range.

*How to Mount sheds? of the deer size sheds is fairly easy. You must first start by drilling the end of the shed with a 1/4" drill bit. Make sure to go deep enough to allow for the full length of the lag part of the hanger bolt. After you have drilled the antlers, thread the hanger bolt all the way until the bolt threads. Then place the sheds with the hanger bolts installed, onto the shed adapters. Thread the nut onto the bolt, and then adjust to the desired angle, and width, you would like on your shed buck.
